1 pomfret fish
2 tsp coconut oil
1/4 cup coconut
2tsp fennel seeds
1tbs chili powder
1tsp turmeric powder
4 garlic cloves
- Firstly, clean and wash pomfret fish and make three slits.
- Add all the ingredients to a blender and add just a sprinkle of water.
- Grind to a very fine paste
- Simply apply the ground masala all over the fish and also into the slit skin. Refrigerate and marinate for 30 mins.
- Over medium heat, place Tawa, add coconut oil. Place the marinated fish and cook for 4 to 5 mins.
- Flip gently and cook for 4 to 5 mins until the masala are well cooked and it is lightly browned.
