    This Pomfret Masala fry is made with a handful of ingredients that makes it a simple and complete meal. It is delicious with fantastic texture and flavor.
    The secret of this pomfret fish fry depends on the marinade.
    This marinade has coconut, fennel seeds, peppercorns, onion, tomato, garlic, and spice powders.
    This pomfret fish fry is super super easy to make, only 3 steps to go:

How to make Pomfret Masala Fry:

Firstly, clean and wash pomfret fish and make three slits.

Add all the ingredients to a blender and add just a sprinkle of water.

Grind to a very fine paste

Simply apply the ground masala all over the fish and also into the slit skin. Refrigerate and marinate for 30 mins.

Over medium heat, place Tawa, add coconut oil. Place the marinated fish and cook for 4 to 5 mins.

Flip gently and cook for 4 to 5 mins until the masala are well cooked and it is lightly browned.

Tips to make the best Pomfret masala fry:

1. Make a slash lightly over the fish that help the marinade to do magic.
2. Marinade the fish minimum of 30minutes to 3 hours to get more intense flavors.
3. You can adjust the spice level according to your taste-bud.
4. Shallow fry the recipe in coconut oil, to get more flavors.

1 pomfret fish
2 tsp coconut oil
1/4 cup coconut
1tsp peppercorns
2tsp fennel seeds
1tbs chili powder
1tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tomato
4 garlic cloves
1/2 onion
1tsp salt


Instructions

  1. Firstly, clean and wash pomfret fish and make three slits.
