- All purpose flour- 175g
- Caster sugar- 175g
- Baking powder- 1.5 tsp
- Butter/Margraine- 125g
- lemons- 2
- Sugar – 1 tbs
- Preheat the oven 180 degree C for 10 minutes before baking.
- Mix the flour an baking powder well.
- Beat the eggs and keep aside
- In a large mixing bowl, add butter and sugar cream them well..
- Now gradually add little of egg and little flour for each addition, beat them to form a creamy batter.
- Add in lemon rind and lemon juice mix them gently.. now the batter is ready!!
- Grease ur baking tray with butter.
- pour the cake batter and tap the baking tray so it remove the air bubble.
- Set for baking at 180degree C for 15 mins
- Heat up the sauce pan, add in lemon juice, lemon rind, sugar bring them to boil, now the sugar syrup is ready
- Once the cake is done!! sprinkle some sugar,lemon rind and lemon syrup.
